Here we go!

I've started a blog... (whodathunkit)... the guy that hated studying the grammatical part of English in High School. I loved the Literature, hated the Grammar. I once even asked one of my teachers (Miss Phillips), "Why do I need to know how to diagram a participle; most of mine dangle anyway?"... hmmmm... one's comments sometime take time to bite, but sooner or later they do... they're like long range space probes; you think you have them launched and safely away; most of the time you forget all about them, and just when one least expects it... they return; and they're always programmed for re-entry during the 'optimum  embarrassment or humiliation' window. I'm convinced that's why hardly anyone (and no-one pregnant) says, "Man... that baby is UGLY"... because they don't want theirs to be at least that ugly, or uglier... and if they say that you can bet your last dollar that the baby will come out looking like a cross between a Shar-pei puppy and The Thing from The Fantastic Four movie.

I call that Sam's 'Posterior Payback Inevitability' theory... you will find it a few listings below the Defininitive Book of Murphy's Law on the 'Veritable Truths of Life' aisle. There are also several references to the 'Posterior Payback' theory in the, 'My Life As A Teenager' section.

Anyway [:)]... I don't know how often I will post, or even if the posts will be worth reading, but I take criticism fairly well... besides, I have a delete comment button... (and I'm not afraid to use it!).

Hopefully I will be able to make a few comments about some of the things that sometimes seem befuddling, amusing, aggravating, or downright moronic to me. The opinions I write will be my own... I am, after all, the one writing them. One other thing; I don't promise to use real words... the folks that love and read me (my peeps) will know what I mean... most of them are used to my warpedness (real word?... go ask a construction guy). My syntax could be off kilter and I may spell a word or two wrong, but hopefully everyone else will get the gist of what I am intending to get across. If not, such a person could be too educated for this site. I don't do intellectual snob... and that could very well be the subject of some future post... snobbery, that is.

One final last thing. I am a Christian... Period. This blog's acceptable level of conduct will always reflect that. Keep any comments clean and non-abusive. I love intelligent and lively discussion, and from time to time I may write something that one might feel inclined to take to the next level of 'lively'. As long as you stay within my rules I will post all of your comments.

My blog - my rules... if that's not acceptable to you then start your own blog and post vulgar, rude, and abusive rants to your heart's content... you have my sympathy... and prayers.

So... HERE WE GO!
